I would consider GMDX a modernisation of Deus Ex, and as well all know, modernising gameplay changes the game a LOT. Revision is a complete overhaul of the original Deus Ex, bringing new level design, music, and world-building detail. It features over 1400 new changes, in areas ranging from artistic direction to deepened function, and even bug fixing and attempts to reinforce adherence to canon. Avoid mods that heavily change the game like ReVision.
